Description:
Be Kind RI helps high-risk individuals and communities receive the help they needed during COVID-19, particularly food assistance.
BeKindRI is a free platform that connects at-risk individuals and older adults, who need to maintain social distancing during the pandemic, with volunteers in their community. After an individual submits a request for a store or food pantry delivery, BeKindRI will reach out to the volunteer community to locate a compatible volunteer. Requests can be made online or via a dedicated phone number. The volunteer will then contact the recipient directly via email or phone to facilitate the delivery.
