Lifeline is a government benefit program supported by the federal Universal Service Fund. Enrollment is available to individuals who qualify based on federal or state-specific eligibility criteria. It is available for only one wireless or wireline per household. Eligible applicants can receive a free phone, 1000 FREE minutes, unlimited FREE text messages and 1 GB of data each month under the program through carriers approved by the PUC.
