Glocester Emergency Management Agency implements policies related to hazard mitigation and emergency management programs and activities. The EMA also has general supervision of all civil preparedness duties and performs any other duties as assigned by the Town Manager.

Volunteer Opportunities:
The Glocester EMA is looking for volunteers to assist in times of need. In the event of a disaster, volunteers are needed to dispense medicines, search for missing persons, assist professional responders, and more. All volunteers will receive free training and equipment in preparation of a disaster. Volunteers participate in emergency exercises and assist public safety responders as requested. Volunteers must have a willingness to help and be able to pass a criminal background check.
