US citizens or legal permanent residents 18-25 years of age; have a GED, High School diploma, some college, or a college degree; be able to commit 1700 hours of full time service over 11 months; have served no more than 3 previous AmeriCorps terms in a state or national program; be able to pass a criminal background check.
