Description:

Part of Community Care Alliance, the Agape Center is a community based HIV/AIDS support and resource center whose mission is to provide services, resources, and advocacy for persons living with or affected by HIV/AIDS and to promote community awareness and prevention of the disease. Agape is viewed as a safe, confidential setting where people living with HIV/AIDS are treated with dignity and respect.
Drop-In Services:
HIV and Hepatitis C testing
Walk-ins Tuesdays 9:00AM-11:00AM or by appointment
Breakfast and Lunch are served Monday and Wednesday
Weekly Food Pantry
Monthly Personal Care, Cleaning and Household Items


At the center clients can Socialize Exercise volunteer access educational materials/computer center, participate in support groups, and watch movies from an extensive DVD library.

Eligibility

Clients must be HIV+ and either live in Northern Rhode Island or receive medical services at Thundermist Health Center in Woonsocket.

Intake Procedure

New clients should contact Lorna Cohen at 401-766-0900 x 1145 to set up an appointment for an intake.

Wed 8:30AM-4:00PM
Thu 8:30AM-12:00PM

Breakfast and lunch are served on drop in days, and clients have access to the food pantry and personal care products.
