Child Outreach is a free service offered to all children 3 to 5 years old. Child Outreach provides information about your childâs development and resources that are available within your community. It can also help identify children who may need further assessment, intervention and/ or services at an early age to promote positive outcomes in kindergarten and beyond. Barrington Child Outreach is based in the Barrington Public Schools office, and visits all preschools in the district, as well as holds monthly screenings at the Barrington town hall.

Intake Procedure
All children, residents and non-residents, who attend preschools in Barrington are screened at their preschools throughout the school year, all resident children who do not attend a preschool are screened at monthly Town Hall screenings. Appointments can be made online by clicking on the Child Outreach link on Barrington School Department homepage: barringtonschools.org or by calling 401-247-3145.
