The Public Works Department is comprised of: Administration, Highway Division, Fleet Maintenance and Facilities Maintenance. Primary responsibilities consist of: Maintaining approximately 103 miles of Town roads, Performing road reconstruction & repair, Removing snow & ice, Street Sweeping, Roadside mowing, Maintaining Storm Water Management System, Maintaining traffic markings, Maintaining street signs, stop signs & regulatory signs, Maintaining a fleet of over 150 vehicles, equipment & boats, Street tree maintenance, Maintenance of Town Hall, and Comfort Station & The Towers
