COVID-19: Currently, the Tri-County Community Action Agency Elder, Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing program is in operation with all advocates working and all contact numbers the same.
Advocates are working from home.
The elder advocates, Ray and Roberta, are checking their messages daily.
Bill will also be available in the office. His direct number is 401-519-1916.
Aimee and Bonnie, advocates for individuals who are deaf, have their video phones and text lines connected to their homes so they can be reached directly.
We are currently providing all of our core victim services.


Behavioral health treatment is offered for a wide variety of concerns including substance abuse treatment, anxiety and depression, relationship and family counseling, and stress and anger management.

Dental and Oral Healthservices include:
Oral examinations,Digital x-rays,Dental cleanings,Topical fluoride,Nutritional counseling,Sealants,Oral hygiene instruction,Restorative services (fillings).Simple extractions,Anterior root canal,Denture repair and crown re-cementation

Head Start educators work with families and children to implement developmental and socialization strategies that work best for you and your child. Our classrooms are bright and inviting and are designed to maximize creativity and learning. Healthy lunches and snacks are provided to children daily. In addition to providing educational and nutritional resources, children will have access to health and dental screenings at no cost, and families will be provided with health referrals and referrals for emergency services whenever needed. We recruit families 12 months per year.

Early Head Start is a federal program for eligible families, that are expecting a child, or with a child ages birth to three years old. The program provides services that promote cognitive, language and social-emotional development of the child. Children enrolled in the program will receive medical and dental screenings at no cost, and families are provided with assistance locating health care, and emergency services whenever needed.

Eligibility Guidelines: The programs service families with income at or below the federal poverty guidelines, children in living in foster care, and families experiencing homelessness. Ten percent of enrollment slots must be filled with children with a diagnosed disability.

              Children from birth to age five from families with low income, according to the Poverty Guidelines published by the Federal government, are eligible for Head Start and Early Head Start services.
