The mission of EBEC is to share, coordinate and combine selected resources of its eight member districts in ways that:
Support the development of all teachers, administrators and other professional personnel into world class educators; Support the development of all schools into world class educational institutions; Provide administrative services that are more cost effective and of higher quality; Better serve the needs of selected special needs populations for the success of all learners in ways that maintain the individuality of each district.
Serves Little Compton, Newport,Tiverton, East Providence, Bristol/Warren, Barrington, Portsmouth and Middletown school districts.

Description
Member of the Assistive Technology Access Partnership: Device demonstration, device loan, device re-use; training, public awareness, collaboration, information and referral. Provides demonstrations, training, and long-term loan and device reutilization services of specialized telephone equipment to qualified individuals who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, have a speech disability, or have neuromuscular damage or disease, which hinders them from using a standard telephone.
Hours
Tue-Thu by appointments only. Mostly traveling so leave a message.
Eligibility
Hard of hearing, deaf or have a speech disability or or neuromuscular damage or disease that hinders use of a standard telephone; have a single party telephone line, and meet income criteria.
