Foundations Academy (formerly the Regional Alternative Program): Provides special needs students - diagnosed with behavioral and emotional disorders - with an alternative to traditional schools. Foundations Academy (formerly the Specialized Alternative Program): Students who learn differently and have different abilities need the help and guidance of educators who are specially trained to develop and maximize those abilities. Educators in the Foundations Academy work to identify a studentâs skills and their potential for learning new skills.
