Programs that provide information and guidance for individuals who meet age, disability and/or income guidelines and may qualify for state rent assistance programs. Those eligible are typically residents who are age 65 or older, widows and widowers age 50 or older, and individuals with permanent disabilities age 18 and older whose household income does not exceed a specified annual amount. Eligible applicants generally receive a rent rebate check.
