Description:
Recruits, screens, trains and places volunteers in Providence public schools. Interviews individuals and provides orientation; volunteers provide in/after-school tutoring, classroom assistance, library and resource help. Enrichment activities, clubs.
Income Source: United Way; Providence School Department; Department of Education Legislative Grant; foundations and grants.

Mon-Fri 8:30AM-5:00PM
Intake Process:
Volunteers: Apply via online volunteer management system, GivePulse. Returning volunteers will receive an email to claim their account. Inspiring Minds will review and contact you to register for an orientation session. Typically 2 hours; present a valid photo ID.

Eligibility:
Pre K-Grade 5 students in Providence; Volunteers must clear standard background and reference checks.
