To protect Rhode Islanders from excessive exposure to ionizing and non-ionizing radiation through ensuring the safe use of radioactive materials, x-ray equipment, and tanning equipment. What we do Register x-ray and tanning equipment and facilities. Registration is required for the use of x-ray equipment and the individuals who provide, install, and service them. Each location which has x-ray or tanning equipment is required to be registered. Registrations which have a change of ownership require the filing of a new registration application. License the use of x-ray and tanning equipment and facilities. Registration is required for the use of x-ray equipment and the individuals who provides install and service them. Each location which has a x-ray or tanning equipment is required to be registered. Tanning registrations, which have a change of ownership require the filing of a new registration application.
