Description:
Safelink Wireless Lifeline is a government benefit program supported by the federal Universal Service Fund. Enrollment is available to individuals who qualify based on federal or state-specific eligibility criteria. It is available for only one wireless or wireline per household. Eligible applicants can receive a free phone, 1000 FREE minutes unlimited FREE text messages and 3GB of data each month under the program through carriers approved by the PUC.

"Recipients of Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance, Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA), Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Supplemental Social Security (SSI), Tribal Head Start (income qualifying), Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (Tribal TANF) May also qualify if total household income is at or under 135% FPL."
