Jewish Collaborative Services (JCS) is a full-spectrum social services agency, including senior housing that serves RI.
Services Include:
Case Management Program: help with basic needs, financial planning, and financial assistance to those who qualify
Counseling Center: counseling for all ages, adjusted rates available for those without insurance
Partners in Care Program: provides free, in-home respite for military families caring for older or disabled adults
Geriatric Care Management: provides guidance for navigating geriatric services
Adoption Options: personal, no cost consultations for those seeking to adopt and assistance for those who are looking to give up a child for adoption
Jewish Eldercare of Rhode Island (JERI): regular visits to homebound seniors and those living in nursing homes, assisted living facilities or in the hospital
Kosher Food Pantry: food pantry distributes kosher chicken, produce, and a wide range of nonperishable foods, along with personal care items, food can be delivered to those who are homebound
Kosher Meals on Wheels: Kosher meals delivered to homebound seniors or disabled individuals in Providence, Cranston, Pawtucket, and Warwick
Kosher Senior Cafes: kosher lunches and an opportunity to socialize for older adults and those with disabilities
Senior Housing: Tamarisk Senior Living (short-term respite and adult day services, assisted living in Warwick) and Shalom Apartments/Affordable Housing (Warwick).

Description
If you choose to build your family through adoption, the caring professionals at Adoption Options can help you through the process to become a parent. They offer a range of services for adoptive parents, from planning through post-adoption: They complete home studies that are accepted in all states as well as countries that support international adoption. Upon completion of your home study, they will coordinate all necessary connections with other professionals and will assist in navigating that next phase of the adoption journey. This includes continued support, consultations about birth parent matches, communications, and document preparation related to Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC). They provide post-adoption services for families, including post-placement visits, reports, support groups, and referrals They welcome all families.

They may also lack meaningful social interaction, which has been shown to improve quality of life and even extend lifespans. JCSâs Kosher Senior Cafés are designed to meet both needs. The Kosher Senior Cafés in Providence and Cranston offer delicious kosher lunches and an opportunity to socialize for older adults and those with disabilities. Activities and entertainment contribute to the fun social atmosphere, drawing participants into a vibrant community.

All seniors age 60 and older, as well as younger adults with a disability, are eligible to dine at the Kosher Senior Cafés. Other adults may also participate for a higher contribution Transportation may be available for a small fee for residents of Providence & Pawtucket (for the Providence cafe) and those living in Warwick or Cranston (for the Cranston cafe) The Providence Kosher Senior Café is in the Dwares JCC at 401 Elmgrove Avenue, Providence, RI. Meals are served Monday through Friday at noon. An activity or entertainment follows. The Cranston Kosher Senior Café is located at Temple Sinai, 30 Hagen Avenue, Cranston, RI. The café offers a hot kosher meal and an opportunity to socialize once a week, on Fridays at noon.
