Description:

SVDP Rhode Island comprises a statewide Council, five districts, and 34 parish-based conferences. Conferences of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul are composed of Vincentian volunteers who serve those in need in their local communities. SVDP provides assistance in the following areas basic needs, disaster recovery, poverty education and youth leadership.

    SVDP provides the “home visit,” from Vincentians ask to meet in your home (they will always arrive as a pair). Most of our conferences offer the range of basic needs assistance from rent and security deposits.
