The therapists create an extremely supportive relationship and help individuals to understand and change links between problematic thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Therapists help adults manage moods such as depression or anxiety, cope with stressful situations, overcome psychological disorders such as obsessive-compulsive disorder or specific phobias, and accomplish a variety of personal goals.
