Description:
The Serenity Center is a peer-run place when people can come to be with others who support their recovery. Certified Peer Recovery Specialists are available to provide support and to facilitate activities. Support groups like Medication Assisted Treatment, AA, Narcotics Anonymous and Families Coping with Addiction are available. Referrals for basic needs, family supports, financial literacy classes, and health and wellness activities are provided.
Call 401-488-4426 for information about meetings are events.
Free Narcan kits and training is available 5 days per week.
HIV/HEP testing is available by appointment.

Everyone experiences tough times. Having help when you need it is the key to facing these challenges. Community Care Alliance strives to empower people experiencing economic insecurity, mental illness and addiction, housing issues, and trauma-related concerns. These might include basic needs assistance to address emergenciesâ counseling, treatment, support services and residential programs for individuals and families impacted by serious mental illness and addictionâ emergency and supportive housing to prevent homelessness and promote stabilizationâ alternative education and services for families with young children and adolescentsâ and employment, financial literacy and vocational training to improve self-sufficiency. They provide clinical and support services for individuals and families with long-term needs associated with mental illness and substance abuse. Their goal is to help people live as independently and as fully integrated within the community as possible
