      Description

      Registered Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site: Staff of tax preparers are IRS trained, tested, and certified to help people who qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit program receive the tax credits they deserve. THIS IS A FREE SERVICE. You must bring a copy of your previous year's return, all financial statements pertaining to tax year 2019, your social security card, and a picture ID.

      Earned $56,000 or less in 2019 To qualify for Property Tax Relief Credit (please note it is total household size and total household income): An individual must be (all of the qualifiers below) - Elderly or disabled - Receive Social Security Benefits - Lived in RI all of 2019 - Lived in an apartment or home subject to property tax. The person can receive up to $365.
